The new OSRAM LIGHTsignal BEACON LIGHTS are available 360 ° rotating, yellow rotating beacons that are installed on vehicles with unusual width, length or load as well as on municipal vehicles, emergency vehicles, command vehicles and accident assistance vehicles to draw attention to an unusual situation in traffic or in the work environment. The rotating beacons from OSRAM can be used for better visual recognition, marking and securing of dangerous areas or special places. In addition, rotating beacons are used in certain facilities, on machines and devices as well as in alarm systems.
In order to meet the individual needs and requirements of the market, the LIGHTsignal BEACON LIGHTS are available in two different technologies: LED and HALOGEN.
The OSRAM LIGHTsignal LED BEACON LIGHT is characterized by high efficiency due to eight long-lasting high-performance LEDs with up to 1200 lumens and 1900 Kelvin, the OSRAM LIGHTsignal HAL offers excellent performance thanks to a high-quality H1 halogen lamp with up to 1900 lumens and 2200 Kelvin. This ensures better visibility and therefore more safety for you and others – day and night. Thanks to the non-slip, shock-absorbing rubber base, the warning lights from OSRAM are particularly insensitive to vibrations. At the same time, the fully rubberized base acts as a seal between the product and the surface. In addition, the robust, shatterproof polycarbonate housing can withstand even heavier loads. To reduce and prevent dirt deposits on the beacons, the OSRAM LIGHT signals use a smooth surface on the housing, thus preventing the signal effect from being impaired by dirt.
The OSRAM LIGHTsignal HAL BEACON LIGHT< / strong> impresses with its high luminosity and low power consumption. Thanks to the low power consumption of the LED, the all-round warning light from OSRAM is also suitable for use over a longer period of time. Thanks to its compact and modern design, the light offers various possible uses and a high level of flexibility, as it is compatible with both 12V and 24V vehicles.
The OSRAM LIGHTsignal HAL BEACON LIGHT offers an impressively high luminous efficacy. With the help of a special texture inside the housing and the highly polished parabolic reflector, efficient and effective light output is generated. The light is suitable for 24V vehicles and thanks to the robust and functional design, this signal light offers a wide range of possible applications.
The mounting material included in the scope of delivery enables direct and precise installation and thus immediate use of the rotating beacons. The three-point mounting system allows the light to be mounted securely and firmly on the vehicle roof. In addition, the LIGHTsignal warning lights from OSRAM comply with the ECE guidelines R10 and R65 and are therefore approved for use in road traffic2) The OSRAM LIGHTsignals were tested to extreme levels in our environmental simulation laboratory, which is certified according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 external influences in the form of water, dust, heat, cold tested and validated with protection class IP65.
